Radio Personality Donnie Simpson Retires His Post At WPGC

Donnie Simpson often referred to as ‘the green-eyed talent’ is leaving his long-running morning radio show at WPGC-FM in Washington DC.
Simpson woke up the nations captiol with “The Donnie Simpson Show,” for the first time back in 1993. A 32-year radio veteran, Simpson was best known as the host of BET’s ‘Video Soul,‘ a position he held for 14 years.
Simpson’s contract does not expire until March 2011, and he has not announced his plans after he leaves WPGC.
Here is Donnie interviewing Mariah Carey on the classic Video Soul. It is said to be the the Grammy award winners’ first television appearance.
