Hope for Haiti: Metropolitan Baptist Church Gives Back

On Sunday, the Metropolitan Baptist Church  in Washington presented a check to Rev. Jean St. Ulme of Eglise Baptiste du Calvaire  for their outstanding assistance to the people of Haiti. Eglise Baptiste du Calvaire is currently operating four schools in three locations in Haiti: Jacmel, Coteaux, and Jérémie. These schools serve approximately 1000 elementary school students who would not otherwise have access to education. The schools follow the nationalcurriculum of Haiti which includes courses in French (the official language of Haiti), Math, Social Studies, and Science.
